Tiger Trail is an Ecological Venture Capital fund. It funds and supports social enterprises and NGOs to help them achieve dramatic improvements in the amount of forest cover, plan and animal diversity and species population numbers in SE Asian jungles. It does this by enabling partnerships between academics, corporates and ecopreneurs and helping them scale.
CalTheory is a marketing and strategy consultancy that I run with Dilip Malave. We help startups grow once they have got product market fit. With a team of more than 20 experts across a range of marketing channels we are able to achieve significant growth by optimising initial traction channels and identifying new opportunities.

Business Model Guru provides early stage startups with clear actionable advice that helps them achieve product market fit and provides clear strategies for achieving traction. This is a partnership between myself a Leander Westendorp, an expert in Lean Startup
Stanway Consulting is a rail and systems engineering consultancy that focuses on integrating different systems in safety critical engineering systems. UK based, I run the Asian operations
- Tiger Trail Path – this was the original project that Tiger Trail came from. The aim is to build a 500 km long distance footpath along the top of the Titiwangsa Mountains in Malaysia
- Historical Entrepreneurs – this is a book project looking at a variety of entrepreneurs from 100 BC to 1900 AD. The book is about how they achieved success and what can be learned from their historical approaches.
- Meranti Madness – This is a fun project to create a small nursery of tropical dipterocarps (giant tropical rainforest trees) and guerilla plant them in urban areas across Selangor and Malaysia
- Fairness in Triathlon – As Chief Race Marshall at a number of Ironman and other long course triathlons across Asia my goal is to improve race referring to ensure fair play for all triathletes and penalise all gain or seek to gain unfair advantage
